Database for Estonian Film Music Was Opened

Tallinn Music Week, Black Nights Film Festival and Film Estonia opened a brand new database for Estonian film music. It will be a working tool for international film industry. Database is available at www.filmmusic.ee. The database already includes several members of the ECU: Ardo Ran Varres, Helena Tulve, Malle Maltis, Liis Viira, Mirjam Tally, Sven Grünberg, Robert Jürjendal, Ülo Krigul. Premieres by Tõnu Kõrvits in Finland and France

Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir brings new piece Ääni joka katosi to Finnish and Estonian audience. Additionally the silent film The Passion of Joan of Arc by Carl Theodor Dreyer can be seen at the festival Les Boréales in France with new music written by Tõnu Kõrvits.

Short Films with Music by Tatjana Kozlova Will Be Shown at KUMU Documentary

On Monday 21 October, two short films by Elenor de Montesquiou with relevant role of music by Tatjana Kozlova will be shown at the programme of KUMU Documentary. Both of these documentaries from 2009, Fisherman (24’) and Woman (15’), focus through concrete portraits on the life by the Estonian-Russian border – near where also Tatjana Kozlova is from.
